1. What kind of SOAP is in your bathtub right now?
Irish Spring bars and Neutrogena Rainbath Gel
2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator?
No, but we should probably pick up some!
3. What would you change about your living room?
Not too much, one day we’d like a bigger couch and probably a better entertainment center/a cool chest! And a new tv (ours is from the college days!)
4. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty?
We love having a dishwasher (our last place did not), but right now they are dirty!
5. What is in your fridge?
Beer – Guinness, Miller Lite & Charleston Ale, Wine – random white wine, condiments – tartar, cocktail, yellow mustard, djion mustard, olive oil mayo, Rose’s Lime Juice, grenadine, eggs, skim milk, lemongrass, cucumbers, peppers, romaine lettuce, marinated chicken, deli ham & roast beef, shredded cheddar cheese etc…!
6. White or wheat bread? Usually 9 grain or oat and some sort of assortment of tortillas, pitas and bagels.
7. What is on top of your refrigerator?
Wooden tray that holds a bag of pretzels, pita chips and potatoes
8. What color or design is on your shower curtain? Green & light blue seersucker stripes (fr. Martha Stewart)
9. How many plants are in your home?
Ermm, one potted plant that is trying to survive (admittedly, I have no green thumb.)
10. Is your bed made right now?
Yes, I make it every morning – drives me crazy if it is not made!
11. Comet or Soft Scrub?
Comet – my mom’s favorite (although I don’t really use it)
12. Is your closet organized?
Mostly. B: Mine stays organized but I have a pile of clothes usually sitting out – so I suppose that negates it! P: Not really, I try to have it color coordinated but it never seem to stay that way.
13. Can you describe your flashlight?
Big and yellow (the cheapest one from Lowe’s) – there was a time when we had to clean out our old rental by flashlight because someone had already switched the power…
14. Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home?
Both: Tervis for most water/juice/diet coke and glass (wine and highballs for cocktails)
15. Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now?
No, I’ve been meaning to make some…we did have Crystal light pink lemonade in a pitcher though
16. If you have a garage, is it cluttered?
No, the porch has a corner that isn’t necessarily cluttered but has our outdoor stuff.
17. Curtains or blinds?
We have blinds but need to put up some curtains!
18. How many pillows do you sleep with?
B: Two, always. P: One! always.
19. Do you sleep with any lights on at night?
Nope.
20. How often do you vacuum?
We have wooden floors but with a dog, sand outside and general walking around – they require a lot of sweepage.
21. Standard toothbrush or electric?

22. What color is your toothbrush?
B: White and purple, P: white and red
23. Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch?
Yes! In great colors – a bright blue, green and yellow.
24. What is in your oven right now?
Actually, there are red potato wedges for lunch.
25. Is there anything under your bed?
No, probably a few dust bunnies.
26. Chore you hate doing the most?
B: Taking out the trash and laundry – the motivation to do them is just nil, for me. P: washing dishes
27. What retro items are in your home?
Quite a few! Our couch is, ahem, vintage (read: thrift store) but we like it and it has a great red color, a pine bench/table combo that was from P’s family and P’s desk is a mahogany secretary that was a great find!
28. Do you have a separate room that you use as an office?
Yes, (also known as storage and our home office!)
29. How many mirrors are in your home?
5. We still have a few that need to go up.
30. Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home?
Probably not…it would have been spent by now!
31. What color are your walls?
Rental white but they painted the moldings in a fabulous Martha grey – and our stuff fits really well. (It’s an older 50′s home)
32. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home?
Our dog (who looks intimidating but will likely pay more attention to ham or bacon than a burglar!)
33. What does your home smell like right now?
Coffee (thanks to my spill!) and a Paddywax candle that was a gift and has a thyme/basil scent.
34. Favorite candle scent?
Anything with basil or lemon – very fresh smelling and in the winter – we must have pine or Thyme’s Frasier Fir!
35. What kind of pickles (if any) are in your refrigerator right now?
dill chips
36. What color is your favorite Bible?
Brown or black, we would guess.
37. Ever been on your roof?
No, it’s hot up there!
38. Do you own a stereo?
No.
39. How many TVs do you have?
2 – one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Both Wal-mart specials from college, so we will see how much longer they last!
40. Do you have a housekeeper?
Ha! I wish, but realistically our house is small and there are just two of us.
41. What style do you decorate in?
Coastal (but not too themey), classic pieces of furniture and a little shabby chic here and there. Clean lines but personality – we like (and have) a lot of pictures on the wall.
42. Do you like solid colors in furniture or prints?
Both, we would love a great houndstooth upholstered piece and I love damask and toile (I think they are best done in one signature piece!)
43. Is there a smoke detector in your home?
I think so…should probably check!
44. In case of fire, what are the items in your house which you’d grab if you only could make one quick trip?
The dog! Our important papers (passports, etc), pictures and anything I could grab!
